 dren in Geneva, Switzerland proclaimed June 1 to be International Children'
 s Day in 1925. It is usually marked with speeches on children's rights and 
 wellbeing, children TV programs, parties, various actions involving or dedi

 urkey was established on 1920, April 23, and to commemorate the event, Apri
 l 23 was proclaimed a national holiday in 1921. The founder of The Republic
  of Turkey,Atat&uuml;rk, has given this day to the children.</p>
